The 5 Elements of Traditional Oriental Medicine – Earth

earth

Basic Characteristics- Earth is stable and wants to support everyone else. These individuals are slower to move than our fire friends. They tend to be empathic and concerned for others and need tools to learn to protect themselves.

Opportunities for growth- Constant worrying can really affect them. They need to learn to ask if the energy they’re feeling really belongs to them.

Health concerns- Digestive issues, may be more prone to bloating, weight gain, or wanting to just sit around.

Gifts- They are our caretakers. Our Earth children are likely to grow up and run a non-profit to care for others or be in a caregiving profession. They help remind us to slow down.

Remember no one element is more important than the others. We need all of these elements to be complete as a society.
Do you identify with the element of earth? Do you have an earth child in your house?
